3-4 cloves
1 cup of water
1 small cinnamon stick (or 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder)
1 inch piece of fresh turmeric (or 1/2 tsp turmeric powder)
1 tsp honey (optional)
A slice of lemon (optional)
★Instructions
- Boil the water in a small pot.
- Add the cloves, cinnamon, and turmeric to the boiling water.
- Let the mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes to release the flavors and beneficial properties.
- Turn off the heat and let it sit for a minute.
- Strain the tea into a cup.
- Add honey and lemon to taste, if desired.
