★Ingredients

1 tablespoon sugar

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1 cup milk

★Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.

In another bowl, whisk the milk, melted butter, and egg until smooth.
