2 cups cooked chicken (or 1 can of tuna), shredded
2 cups egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or chicken soup
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1 cup milk
Salt and pepper, to taste
Topping:
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
★Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom or chicken soup, milk, and shredded cheese. Mix well.
- Add the cooked chicken (or tuna), noodles, and peas to the sauce. Season with salt and pepper, and stir until everything is well coated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In a separate small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, melted butter, and Parmesan cheese, then sprinkle this mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
