★Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

Red and green food coloring (gel food colors work best for vibrant colors)

★Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Prepare Batter: In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, until just combined.
  4. Divide Batter: Divide the batter into three equal parts. Leave one portion plain, add red food coloring to the second portion, and green food coloring to the third.
  5. Layer and Swirl: Pour each colored batter into the loaf pan in layers. Use a knife to gently swirl the colors for a marbled effect.
  6. Bake: Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool and Serve: Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!

This recipe will give you a festive, colorful loaf similar to the one in the picture. Enjoy baking!
